Formerly available only in high-end projectors, the XD500U XGA projector features BrilliantColor™ technology, incorporating the latest TI DDP2230 chip set, as well as a six segment colour wheel and optimised colour coding algorithms for better, more accurate colour reproduction. With its 2200 ANSI lumens brightness and a 2000:1 contrast ratio, the XD500U is ideal for use as a classroom or conference room projector, or in other spaces with lots of ambient light.
FEATURES
Newly Designed Colour Wheel
This 6-segment wheel incorporates Yellow and Cyan as well as the standard Red, Green, Blue and White segments, to display a wider range of the colour spectrum.
Optimised Colour Coding Algorithms
The XD500U's colour algorithms automatically corrects brightness and colour to the user‘s environment, ensuring optimum projection. Moreover, the model's 2200lm brightness means that it can be used in ambient light and 2000:1 contrast ratio guarantees image sharpness.
Lamp Power Modulation and BrilliantColorTM Technology
Through the use of Unishape, a lamp power modulation technology, in combination with BrilliantColorTM, the XD500U acts intelligently to boost colours that are prone to be being darker or less saturated. This improves the overall intensity and vibrancy of the displayed image.
