Video Splitter: View Crystal Clear Images on Multiple Displays From a Single Source
Written by luecjennifer
Video Splitter is a hardware device whose arrival has made things possible, which weren’t earlier. Before, it was almost unimaginable to think of displaying images that originate from a single source and display it simultaneously on multiple devices. However, these splitters have made it possible to split the signal from a single source and relay them on multiple devices, the major advantage being that the signal is boosted as well, thereby making the output devices display crisp and clear images; due to this added advantage the device is also popularly known as video distribution amplifier. The splitters are pretty easy to use and work on simple plug and play functionality. High Definition resolutions such as 720i, 1080p and so on are supported by this device. HDMI cables have the capability of integrating video and audio signals on to a single cable, thereby allowing the user to avoid the use of bulky VGA and audio cables that are associated with standard clutter. The best part of these cables is that the conversion of digital to analog signals and then back to digital signals is not required; instead the signals are kept in their original format and uncompressed. Coming to the features of video splitter, it is compatible with any operating system i.e. the user would not be facing any compatibility issues while using any operating system; the device consumes very less power making it energy efficient; it requires no software or drivers for working and is also easy to install. The splitter is HDCP and RoHS compliant and is certified by FCC/CE. With the help of push buttons that are placed on the unit or through RS232, switching of the output devices is made possible. Optional methods for switching include Infrared and TCP/IP control. The features mentioned above has made this device popular in the Home Theatre segment and for situations where it is highly recommended to display the same image onto various devices, with high crisp and clarity. The video splitter could be ideally used for monitoring work environments, training facilities and so on and so forth.
