VJ duo engineers 15 TripleHead2Go units directly off three Apple® Mac Pro workstations for an astonishing panoramic deployment
Montreal, Canada, July 29, 2010—Matrox Graphics, the leading manufacturer of specialised graphics solutions, today announced that 4youreye has selected Matrox TripleHead2Go Graphics eXpansion Modules (GXMs) to drive a 42-display installation at Club Vanilli. Matrox TripleHead2Go external multi-display upgrades allow AV system integrators to conveniently add up to three monitors per graphics output on a laptop or desktop computer to drive dynamic, digital content across multiple monitors. Club Vanilli has long been considered one of Austria's leading nightclub establishments, but owner Wolf Dieter Holzhey wanted to upgrade the club's typical interior layout with a vibrant digital signage platform. Too ambitious to manage internally, Holzhey outsourced the hardware installation to KRAFTWERK Living Technologies GmbH, who entrusted VJ duo 4youreye with the panorma playout integration. 4youreye quickly identified the TripleHead2Go as the centrepiece for this new project. While Matrox officially supports one TripleHead2Go under Mac® OS X, 4youreye managed to leverage the GXM's multi-display technology to connect five TripleHead2Go units to a single Apple® Mac Pro workstation. Three workstations were combined to drive a total of 42 side-by-side displays encircling the entire club.
