LCD Enclosure Global is the renowned manufacturer of outdoor
digital signage enclosures specifically for the outdoor digital signage industry,
their units are used to protect electronic hardware used for digital signage in
outdoor locations in extreme situations.
When they say extreme situations their solutions have been
tried and tested been used in temperature zones from -30 to 150 degrees
Fahrenheit in locations such as Texas, California, Atlanta, Florida, Canada and
Norway to name a few locations.
Most recently they secured an order for the Penguin project
at the Bronx Zoo in New York (called within
the company as Rico, Sarg, Kowolski and Private – the penguin characters in the
Disney’s Madagascar
movie), this was to accommodate a flat screen display with a networked media
player that needed regular access for maintenance.
The flat screen was a 52” LCD display that would display
digital content that would educate visitors in the penguin section on the
habitat and the environment where penguins live and thrive.
This is added to their portfolio of major US customers including Universal Studios, NASA,
Kimberley Clark and several restaurant chains in the USA.
On a major plus side, a leading race team based in the
Cayman Islands also required an outdoor LCD enclosure that could cope with
extreme locations including offering protection from sand, rain and snow. The
unit will be used to give the position of competitors throughout each race and
moved from race track to race track, throughout the world.
The enclosure is used as a carry case for the safe transfer
for the flat panel display, when ever it is shipped to a new location.
