Video signals can be extended from the source device to a display device located over a long distance with the help of a Video Extender. The signals are transmitted over Cat5/Cat5e/Cat6 cables eliminating the need for bulky cables. With the use of Cat5 cables, bright, sharp, high quality video at resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 can be delivered. Consisting of a local transmitter and a remote receiver which are connected to the video source and the display device respectively, this extender allows for adjustable signal length as well as equalization.
