A Rackmount LCD can also be known as a combination of a LCD monitor, a keyboard and a touchpad in a 1U or 2U housing and is a space saving solution due to its slide out drawer. Devoid of complex installation procedures, this unit is a ready to use device. Also known as a Rackmount LCD drawer, this piece of hardware is equipped with ball bearing telescopic slides with stoppers and lock out rails which prevent movement of the keyboard.

Front access locks enhance the security features. The panel button controls and a built in on screen display can be used to adjust Brightness, Contrast, Color, Clock, Horizontal Position, Vertical Position, Phase, Scaling, Auto configuration, Input select, Multi window, Clear EEPROM. The analog to digital signal converter board is a part of this product and it has 12V, 24V and 48V DC power options. Designed to work with IBM, HP, Dell, SUN Microsystems, Mac’s and others, the Rack LCD is available in various models. The latest one available in the market is the monitor with Quad Screen display option. Using this, a user can display and monitor video signals from four different computers or video sources simultaneously on one single screen.

Other variants of this device are in the form of full size rack mount monitors built in a 2U, 6U, 7U, 8U or 9U frame depending on the size of the Rack monitor needed. Supporting multiple resolutions ranging from 1024x768 up to 1600x1200, they have agency approvals from FCC, CE, VCCI, TAA and RoHS.
