What are peoples thoughts about using wireless products (video extenders, wireless network cards, etc) for digital signage?

We are working with a number of customers to provide 3G wireless and GPS coverage of digtial signage projects throughout Turkey, Paris and in America.
We feel that this could be huge as our taxi cab digital signs could be connected to this and feed the internal screens in the cab providing the passenger with useful information on local attractions, availability of tables at restaurants as well as hotels.
