Hello everyone, I've stumbled upon this forum while researching on making a digital signage display. I'm looking at making a single LCD setup. At this time i want to have a setup with a network connected display and i am looking at using a Samsung LCD, 81cm, FullHD, model 32C550, and send video to it by DLNA. I would rather use this method than using a dual-screen PC setup. (this way i only buy the TV) What is your opinion ?
p.s. i'm a real n00b on this, it's my first tryout.

Hi there, Are you looking at installing this in a corporate environment and leaving it on for 8 hours a day? If so it's best to install a commercial screen.
But I guess it comes down to money.
Using DLNA will work, but it will depend on the location of the screen, wireless access point, and your PC/Device (are you planning on using a mobile phone?)

Thanks for the response, it will be on 8hours / day. There is wired and wireless acces on the location. I will use a PC and am looking for a software to automate sending of images/video to the display via DLNA, any recomandations ?
